Energy Efficiency Tips

Sharyland Utilities is committed to helping our customers become more energy efficient.

A 2010 study conducted by the Department of Energy revealed that space heating and cooling accounts for 54% of residential energy consumption. Other areas of high energy use are water heating (18%), appliances and electronics (9%), and lighting (6%).
